BOTANY

The skill of the craftsman to transform a simple metal object into a delicate piece of jewelry keeps alive the artisanal technique of damascening. With the same love for detail and slow pace of the ancient masters in Damascus, from where it took its name, it is now carved in the world capital of this technique: Toledo. This craftsmanship took root in the Castilla-La Mancha region at the end of the 19th century, thanks to the heirs of the Basque Eusebio Zuloaga. He rediscovered this almost lost technique in a damascened armor and applied it to his creations, revaluing it in Spain.

In it, gold and iron merge into one when, by immersing the carved piece in a caustic solution and being heated to very high temperatures, the steel becomes dark and the noble metal maintains its shine.

In our continuous search for traditional techniques in our country, we have found this centuries-old way of creation, practically unique in the world. With it, we have conceived "Botania Collection", formed by an original design of earrings and our new personalized necklace. Combine the different pendants (circles, diamonds, crosses, and ovals with initials) in the way you prefer to create the necklace that you like the most.

Each of our damascened pieces has the guarantee of being made with 24-carat yellow gold and 18-fifth green gold, with a minimum of 3 microns of embedded thickness. In them, different Renaissance-inspired designs are threaded, with flowers, birds, and other natural elements.
