PRESERVED FLOWER

The star pieces of the necklaces are pendants of pressed and preserved natural flowers, wrapped in light resin on geometric molds. Each flower with a structure and all different thanks to the manual work of Lila, the expert craftswoman with whom we have developed this collection. A connection with the earth and its fruit, with the return of color, with the properties of flowers.

How is the proccess?
1. FLOWER PRESSING
Wild flowers are usually collected and pressed. On other occasions (as is the case with our AMULETOS collection), the flowers are bought in order to have more depth in the collection and have the flowers that have been thought of when conceiving the designs.
There are several ways to press the flowers, the most traditional is by putting them between the pages of books for a few weeks until they are completely dry and pressed. Many lose their color or are modified and lose their charm.
2. VARNISHED
All those that have passed this process and remain beautiful, are selected and a layer of varnish with ultraviolet protection is printed on them so that their color lasts longer and they are protected from the sun.
3. PART DESIGN
Next, the piece is designed to fit in the best way, enhancing its beauty.
4. RESIN PRIMER
Once placed, the resin is printed layer by layer until the finish is light and resistant.
5. PERFORATIONS
Finally, and when necessary, the necessary holes are made to turn them into the final piece.
